Allan Krans is a senior analyst within TBR’s Software Practice, with focus on cloud services, enterprise security, storage and software markets. He is the project lead for multiple engagements in the software space, directing research that delivers valuable insights into the alignment between customer behavior and the competitive marketplace. He provides analysis and insight on EMC, Microsoft, IBM Software and Symantec as well as contributes to quarterly benchmarking activities, including the Software Vendor Benchmark and the Market Landscape – Public Cloud. Allan is frequently quoted in industry publications such as The Boston Globe, eWEEK, Investor’s Business Daily and BusinessWeek.

Previous Experience and Background
Prior to joining TBR in 2002, Allan held a project management role supporting the distribution model for a Fortune 100 insurance company. Allan holds a B.S. degree in business administration with a minor in political science from the University of New Hampshire.
