Vice President of Operations

Chris Foster serves as TBR’s vice president of research operations, overseeing all operations of syndicated and custom research and analysis. He sets the TBR research agenda, leading practice directors and managers dedicated to uncovering key findings in the enterprise IT market and delivering actionable expert analysis to IT decision-makers.

During his 10-year tenure at TBR, Chris has held positions as director of research and director of the Software & Computing practices. He has covered a wide range of industry vendors in-depth — providing clients end-user research, strategic assessments, corporate performance evaluations, and revenue, cost and profitability modeling, as well as unique trend and market analysis.

Chris’ experience in various technology segments includes PCs, servers, enterprise software and IT services. He has been an authoritative voice in numerous technology industry and business publications such as InformationWeek, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek.

Prior to joining TBR, Chris worked for several years in financial services sales/consulting. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business & Economics.
