Ezra Gottheil is a Senior Analyst in TBR’s Computing Practice, where he is team leader for HP hardware, Lenovo and Apple, and principle researcher on projects including consumer and business tablets, PC warranties, PC supply chains, mobile device strategies, mobile device management, app stores and social networking.

Previous Experience and Background
Prior to joining TBR, Ezra held senior positions in the personal computing software, online services, Internet services, web services, social networking and IT industry analysis industries. His experience includes management, product and service design, strategic planning, product and services marketing, online community development, business development and IT industry analysis. In his most recent vendor position, he served as vice president of community development for Corporate Alumni, a social networking service for people who had worked together at major companies worldwide.

Ezra’s other noteworthy roles included vice president of editorial services for Delphi Internet, a News Corporation company providing online and Web services to consumers, where he was responsible for managing the creation of content, contracting for outsourced content and management of online communities. Ezra created the Internet Business practice at the Hurwitz group, where he held the position of director and was responsible for content creation. At Lotus Development Corporation, he was product manager and product design manager for products such as 1-2-3, Symphony and HAL.

Ezra received an A.B. in Physics from Harvard University and earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
