Director, Software Practice
Stuart Williams manages TBR’s software practice. In addition to leading TBR’s enterprise software coverage, Stuart is responsible for key client relationships and project delivery. Clients range from industry vendors to Global 2000 end-users and the financial industry.
Stuart covers the enterprise software sector, including packaged and cloud services vendors, providing customer and market research, strategic assessments, corporate performance evaluations, and revenue, cost and profitability modeling, as well as overall trend and business model analysis on the software industry. Recent research topics include cloud services adoption and appliance business model analysis, and the impact of those topics on key industry players. In addition, Stuart provides insight into early-stage technology commercialization and dynamic competitive strategies.
Stuart also provides global coverage of Oracle and SAP for TBR. He has experience in various technology segments, including open source, cloud computing, applications, middleware, appliances, software standards, software support and software services. Stuart receives frequent attribution in numerous technology industry and business publications, such as InformationWeek, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek.
Stuart holds an M.S. in Management of Technology from the University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business and Economics.
