Chris Foster is currently the Director of TBR’s Computer Business Quarterly and Software Business Quarterly (CBQ and SBQ) groups. In
addition to leading TBR’s computer and software coverage, Chris is responsible for key client relationships and project delivery. Clients
range from industry vendors to Global 2000 end users and the financial industry.
Chris covers a wide range of IT companies, providing market research, strategic assessments, corporate performance evaluations, and
revenue, cost and profitability modeling, as well as overall trend and market analysis on the hardware and software industries. Recent
research topics include SOA and SaaS, and the impact on key industry players.
Additionally, Chris provides global coverage of IBM and Hewlett-Packard. He has experience in various technology segments, including
PCs, servers, computer storage systems and wireless technology. Chris receives frequent attribution in numerous technology industry and
business publications, such as InformationWeek, The Boston Globe, The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek.
Prior to joining TBR in 2000, Chris worked for several years in financial services sales/consulting. He holds a B.S. degree in Business
Administration and an MBA from the University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business and Economics.
